Liberty Bank expands Consumer Lending management team

March 5, 2009; Beachwood, Ohio – Liberty Bank, N.A. announced today that Randall M. Behm has been appointed Senior Vice President and Director of Consumer Lending, assuming expanded duties for all of the bank’s mortgage and student lending. Behm is joined by William K. Spaner, Assistant Vice President and Manager of Residential Mortgage Lending, and Darlene H. Dimitrijevs, Assistant Vice President and Assistant Director of Consumer Lending.

William A. Valerian, Chairman and CEO of Liberty Bank, N.A., said, “We’re pleased to expand Randy’s leadership role and to have two seasoned banking professionals join our consumer lending team. These individuals are highly qualified to manage the bank’s residential mortgage and education lending products and services.”

Randall M. Behm joined Liberty Bank in 2007 from Student Loan Xpress where he served as Executive Vice President managing all aspects of the Private Education Loan programs. Prior to Student Loan Xpress, Behm held numerous senior management positions with a large banking institution. A resident of Westlake, Behm earned a B.A. degree in Economics and Mathematics from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, and an M.B.A. from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

William K. Spaner joins Liberty Bank with a strong track record in mortgage lending. He is a Certified Mortgage Loan trainer in the State of Ohio. Previously, Spaner was the Regional Manager/Vice President of Operations and Sales for a large national mortgage lender where he managed the Wholesale Mortgage Banking Regional Center covering Ohio, Michigan and western Pennsylvania. He also previously served with a large bank for 20 years and has had extensive training in VA, FHA, FNMA and FHLMC lending. A resident of Chagrin Falls, Spaner earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a certified volunteer fireman for the Russell Fire Department and a certified EMT Basic in the State of Ohio.

Darlene H. Dimitrijevs is a financial services business leader with a successful background in operations management, banking and accounting. Formerly, Dimitrijevs served as Senior Vice President of the Private Loan Program with Student Loan Xpress, Inc., a CIT company. In this position, she directed retail consumer product delivery and coordinated compliance, credit underwriting, collections, default administration, third party servicing and secondary market functions. She also served for 20 years with a large national bank, including eight years as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management. A resident of Broadview Heights, Dimitrijevs earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio (inactive) and a past member of Consumer Bankers Association Education Funding Committee. Dimitrijevs has been a guest speaker at various financial services industry conferences.
